of Taos is making headway in the fashion industry, even creating
a changing consciousness in their suppliers. Wholesalers typically
ship their wares to retailers on plastic hangers with each garment
in its own plastic bag. Jewelz of Taos requests that all garments
arrive without either so as to prevent plastic waste. Surprisingly,
suppliers have had to be trained to ship via this new method. The
brilliant news is that as a result of Jewelz of Taos’s policy,
vendors have actually changed their own policies and are shipping
“green”, that is without plastic, thereby reducing the
impact on the environment
